The CAQH Legacy
The Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) was formed by health plans who came together nearly 25 years ago with the desire to make healthcare work better.
CAQH was formed as a collaborative initiative to solve critical challenges around inefficient administrative processes, as well as data quality and access challenges. We became the industry’s trusted steward of provider and member data, playing an indispensable role in healthcare administration by improving how essential information flows across the system.
